Clínica de desarrollo de proyectos y reflexión sobre el proceso creativo en el cual se analizaron recursos y estrategias pertinentes a la conformación de obra personal sólida y coherente, con énfasis en los procesos de producción, inserción y difusión del trabajo de los participantes.

BIO

 

Artista visual. Vive y trabaja en Guadalajara, México. Su obra se desarrolla en plataformas como la instalación, fotografía, acción y video y ha sido mostrado en exposiciones individuales y colectivas en México, Estados Unidos, Europa y Asia, en recintos como la Sala de Arte Público Siqueiros, Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, La Panadería, Ex Teresa Arte Actual en México, así como en El Museo del Barrio, White Box y apexart, New York, NY, LAXART & Outpost for Contemporary Art, en Los Angeles, CA, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía en Madrid, España, National Center for Contemporary Art, Moscú, Rusia y Palace Adria en Praga, República Checa, entre otros múltiples espacios. En 2008/09, Segura es artista residente en el International Studio & Curatorial Program, New York, NY y en 18th Street Arts Center, Santa Monica, CA. En 2010 obtiene el premio de adquisición en la Bienal Nacional Artemergente, Monterrey, México. En 2011 participa en la XV Bienal de Pintura Rufino Tamayo y en la V Bienal Nacional de Artes Visuales de Yucatán. Su trabajo ha sido ampliamente reseñado e incluido en medios impresos y publicaciones especializadas locales e internacionales entre las que destacan Flash Art, Adbusters, Art Papers, Codigo 06140, Art Nexus, Discipline, Celeste, Reforma, Excelsior y The Washington Post, entre otras. Forma parte de la publicación Younger Than Jesus: Artist Directory, editada en conjunto por Phaidon y The New Museum, que reúne la obra de los artistas menores de 33 años más destacados a nivel global. Es miembro fundador e integrante del consejo de SOMA, México, DF.
